I usually work in pastel on acid-free, sanded paper, or pen and ink with a watersoluble pencil wash on 300gr watercolour paper. I use fixative on pastels to minimise smudging but keep this very light in order to maintain the depth of colour.

The finished work is carefully packaged to ensure that your portrait reaches you in good condition.
